#**[LAST WEEK’S THEME: OIL](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/ijdjcm/minecraft_biweekly_build_challenge_105_oil/)**
These comments will be a little shorter today because I don’t have too much time.
Really liked this build. I thought the variation in your platforms really helped out the build. As in, some of your platforms were slightly bigger and expanded out above the sea, and provided a sliver of variation. I also liked your colour palette a lot. It had a good amount of colour without being too saturated or anything.
Overall, great build!!
A bit more detailed of a rig but it wasn’t overly detailed where it was hard to focus on anything. I really liked how you also added the helicopter in the background. That little small detail made your build and world slightly more immersive. Also, your interior with the invisible item frames was a neat touch.
Glad we got a nether build in this! One small thing I really liked was actually the dotted yellow and black safety line on the edge. It made sense to be there and added some much needed colour to a nether build (which always seem to be a little bland). Also, the cranes were very cool looking. Small complaint is the big platform seemed a little bare (especially in the long shots) but overall that didn’t take really anything away from the build.
Well we’re going to the coast this week and helping some sailors out so they make it back to shore easily! That’s right, we’re going to be building lighthouses this week! So here’s hoping we all make some cool, unique and (possibly?) functional designs for our world’s coast.
Build a lighthouse.
